Personally
I was born in Veracruz, Mexico where I learned to play golf from a very early age. Through my youth I had the opportunity to play in many international events and that’s when I decided I wanted to make golf my forever career.
In 2012, I moved to The US after I was recruited to play college golf. I graduated with a bachelor’s in Sport Administration and did an emphasis in coaching. After bouncing between public and private golf courses I settled in at Indian Canyon 5 years ago, and I was welcomed with an amazing team and great clients.
During my second year in College, I met my amazing husband Colby who I have been married to since 2017. We are blessed with our one and only doggie, Mr. Bobby.
In our free time we really enjoy golfing together, but in case you were wondering I am not his coach. Therefore, any time I hear the occasional phrase “What am I doing wrong?”, I get to say “I don’t know, you have to talk to your coach”.
Professionally
I am currently continuing my studies as an associate of the Professional Golfers Association. My teaching philosophy is that the text book swing does not fit every person. My goal as your instructor is to find the swing that work for you while presenting the fundamentals of grip, posture and alignment no matter your age or skill level.
Although my background is mostly with adults, I recently took part in developing a very successful junior program called Birdie Basics. The goal of this program is to successfully transition the little ones to Operation 36 with a higher rate of success while learning golf in a fun and colorful environment.
